Nestled in the lush, thick forest of Piedras Blancas National Park in Costa Rica‘s remote southern zone, Esquinas Lodge is the perfect jungle retreat for eco-tourists seeking adventure off the beaten track.

Each of our 14 rooms offers a private bathroom with hot water shower, ceiling fan, full screening and a terrace. The large main building with it‘s roof made from 70,000 palm fronds has a spacious, open living room, library, bar, and a restaurant offering high-standard cuisine only a stone‘s throw from the dense jungle.

The beautifully landscaped tropical garden attracts more than 200 species of birds, colorful butterflies, coatis, monkeys, iguanas, Caymans and many other animals. The chlorine-free pool has a temperature of 80 degrees F. all year around and is fed by a crystal-clear jungle stream. A 10-mile long network of well marked trails, most of which lead through fascinating, untouched primary forest, departs directly behind the lodge.

Situated on the oceanfront with the pristine, tropical river "Agujitas" behind us, Drake Bay Resort proudly offers the most desirable location in our area. Since we are at sea level, there are no steep steps, or difficult beach landings. We have our own private dock for easy access into the Hotel.

Drake Bay Wilderness Lodge offers more than 20 bungalows with hot water showers, bathrooms, porches, and a ceiling fan. All have a view of the bay, mountains and rain forest. From the cabins, you may take a refreshing swim in the Pacific Ocean or go kayaking. Various jungle trails invite you to discover the surrounding rainforest.

Located on the Osa Peninsula South of Puerto Jimenez and built 350 feet above the see, Lapa Rios offers 14 luxurious bungalows and 1000 acres of private reserve including a sandy stretch of virgin beach.   Lapa Rios is built in harmony with the surrounding forest and beach environment. The main lodge and bungalows line three ridges connected by walking paths and steps. 

The main lodge, housing the restaurant and bar, soars 50 feet and is built of local, natural materials. Palm thatched roofs meet a three-story hardwood circular stairway. Climb to overlook the forest canopy and breathtaking ocean views.  Rooms: 14 luxurious, thatched bungalows with ocean view and surrounded by rain forest All 14 forest bungalows are private and open to the sea; are spacious and can sleep up to 4 people in 2 queen size beds. Each has an indoor (solar-heated) shower with an additional private garden shower, 2 sinks, large closets, and a deck overlooking the rainforest and the ocean. All bungalow access requires stair and path walking. There is 24-hour electricity available for battery charges, computers and razors. Daily laundry service available.

Marenco Beach & Rain Forest Lodge is a Costa Rican, privately owned nature reserve and lodge located in what is probably Costa Rica's greatest natural endowment, the rainforest and scenic coastal regions of the Osa Peninsula.

It is located close to the Northern Ranger station of the Corcovado National Park, San Pedrillo, surrounded by rainforest and beaches on the Southern part of the Osa Peninsula. The lodge itself is built on a bluff 60 meters above sea level and does require climbing stairs from the beach up to the lodge. The lodge offers 19 spacey and well-ventilated Bungalows and 8 standard rooms of two categories in two buildings.

All rooms and bungalows are equipped with Mosquito nets, private bathrooms (cold water) and a terrace. Some of the Bungalows have kitchenette. A Restaurant, Bar and Souvenir shops are located in the center of the grounds. Electricity is generated and available until 10 PM. The different activities at Marenco are paced moderately so that anybody in relatively good health can participate regardless of age.

Located on the Osa Peninsula in southwestern Costa Rica, Corcovado is the "crown jewel" of a world-renowned national park system. Casa Corcovado Lodge is located in a 170-acre private reserve bordering Corcovado National Park and is accessible only by boat. Your accommodations at this "Lost World" are artfully-appointed individual bungalows offering unpretentious comfort, mosquito-netted beds, ceiling fan, tiled floors, lounge area, dry mini bar, safety deposit box, hammock, and ample closets. Roomy private bathrooms have hot water showers and designer fixtures. As you stroll down the sidewalk, your eye cant help but be drawn to the beautiful stained glass in the door and wooden shutters in the windows, handmade by Costa Rican artisans.

The hotel offers 10 Deluxe bungalows with tiled ceramic floors, ceiling fans, mosquito-netted beds, ample storage including closet, lounge area, dry mini bar, safety deposit box, and hammock. There is hot water and electricity 24 hours a day provided by hydroelectric and solar systems. Junior suites with an enclosed porch and living room are available for our guests who like al little more space.

The facilities include an observatory bar, dining and lounge area, spring-fed swimming pool, salon Corcovado & Rainforest conference center, gift shop, laundry, and rancho & observation point. The Jungle dining room and the bar “El Bosque” are surrounded by rainforest and fruit trees for bird watching.

Among Osa Peninsula’s delights are its remoteness and undeveloped, primitive state. Accessible only by boat, the Drake Bay area is free of roads, cars, and even electricity.

(We supply our own power 24 hours a day.) We have, however, made it surprisingly accessible for the save adventurer. Aguila de Osa Inn comes complete with 2 suites and 11 Deluxe rooms, all of which are nestled neatly into the surrounding hillside. Hardly visible from a distance, the rooms are separated into three distinct clusters, each offering spectacular views of the lush, tropical jungle that surrounds the hotel. Resting high above the water's edge, the rooms are open and spacious; with mesh windows to ensure a tropical breeze to pass through your room. All rooms feature large Italian tiled bathrooms, cathedral style ceilings, hot water, ceiling fans, 24 hour electricity, and hand crafted decor, in addition to drinkable well water that is UV treated with a micro-filtered system.

A well maintained cement trail connects the rooms with the hotel's restaurant/office area, which during the evening hours is well lit to ensure safe passage to and from your room.

Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge, is located in the South Pacific Coast of Costa Rica in Golfo Dulce. The lodge’s five private cabins (three 1-bedroom and two 2-bedroom) and the Mango Guesthouse with four rooms offer privacy and comfort in a natural setting. All cabins and rooms have canopied beds, ceiling fans, private terraces, and private baths with hot water and open-air garden shower.

The full length louvre doors that wrap around your room and private verandas afford panoramic views of your natural surroundings. Electricity is provided by solar energy. However, candles are still used throughout the lodge to maintain the natural experience. Candlelit pathways and dinners are reminders of our efforts and commitment towards conservation, and sensitivity to the natural environment.
